Knitwear for cool people.

Designed in Vancouver. Handmade in Iran.

Meet Parinaz, founder of Givéh.

Founded in Vancouver, BC in 2023. Designed by Parinaz Shahmoradi Givéh knitwear is ethically made by female artisans in Iran with responsibly sourced natural and recycled fibres only. The vision is to empower women and artisans in Iran, and expose their talent to the global market. Givéh is for those who are unapologetically themselves.
I founded Givéh in 2023 after moving back to Tehran, with an idea. Each piece is made in small batches in a small workshop in Tehran, by skilled female artisans using responsibly sourced natural and recycled fibres. I work closely with the women who bring Givéh to life, creating pieces that feel fun, special, and made to last.

I wanted to create something that felt contemporary and well-made, while staying connected to the craftsmanship and talent I had access to in Iran.

Where does the name 'Givéh' come from?

Givéh is the name of a traditional handwoven Iranian shoe, known for its craftsmanship, comfort, and durability. Inspired by its timeless design and the skill of the artisans who make it, Givéh was launched to carry forward that same spirit — blending artistry with contemporary knitwear.
